Product Description

Streak Master Aluminum Brightener And Cleaner is the acid brightener of the future and the future is now. It has been developed to improve the safety of those using traditional aluminum brighteners (Hydrofluoric Acid Brightener); yet, still have a product that removes road film, grime, algae, scum, lime deposits, water line stains, oxidation, and brightens aluminum like a professional truck wash. Works just like the traditional aluminum trailer and pontoon cleaner and brightener (Hydrofluoric Acid Brightener) WITHOUT the negative hazards associated with that product. Forget the toxic and poisonous concerns and step up to new technology.

WE are a special blend of acids and catalysts "activators" that reduce the activation energy needed for aluminum brightening and cleaning. The catalysts make the surface of the aluminum more reactive and this allows the acid blend to be more productive. We have found it to work especially well in removing road film since road film can contain up to 60% aluminum. On pontoon boats it excels in removing algae, scum, lime deposits, water line stains, and oxidation. On aluminum trailers it excels at brightening and removing oxidation. We also blend special surfactants and detergents into the formulation to release oils, greases, and virtually any foreign material.

Acid Cleaners are weather sensitive
Cold weather dilute less
Hot weather dilute more

Polished Aluminum: Acid cleaners can dull polished aluminum when used to strong. Weathering and other elements will also dull polished aluminum. If you are not ready to polish but would like to brighten the appearance, we suggest starting with: 1 part cleaner to 24 parts water. Always test a small area allowing to set for 2 minutes. Adjust dilutions to your satisfaction.

Mill Finished Aluminum: On mill finish aluminum, like pontoons and all bare aluminum trailers, the aluminum turns light gray. The more you dilute the cleaner, the less grayish color you will get. On newer mill finishes start with a dilution of one part cleaner and 15 parts water. Add more cleaner or dilute more with water to achieve the desired results. For extreme oxidation and cleaning dilute 1 part cleaner to 5 parts water.

Extruded aluminum: 1 part cleaner to 15 parts water for light oxidation removal and cleaning. 1 part cleaner to 5 parts water for extreme oxidation removal and cleaning. The aluminum looks brand new.
