The aluminum coupon (AL-0) is bare aluminum (no Trailer X). The aluminum coupon (AL-3) is coated with Trailer X Clear. The panels were subjected to SAE J2721 Accelerated Corrosion Study. The result is representative of 10 years in a corrosive northern road-salt environment. Severe corrosion and pitting occurred on AL-0. No corrosion occurred on the Trailer X coated aluminum, AL-3.
